Precisely Simply Exactly Just What Does The Concept Of Accepting Business Intelligence Tasks Suggest – Hi everyone, Mirella here today, and I’m back with some general instructions on card making, still using the same beautiful stamp set I featured in my most recent post here.
The Blooming Bunch seems to be one of those stamp sets – once on my desk – that is hard to put away! The options are literally endless with this adorable image, and I haven’t even started using butterflies yet (which is an absolute shocker to me, I thought butterflies always came before flowers in my craft room!).

Today, we’re going to focus on adding color to your card designs. So, if you feel like your coloring skills aren’t quite there yet, or you just don’t have the time and energy to color an entire image/scene just right – I hope you find my tips helpful.
Precision And Recall
Let’s focus on the first card. To be perfectly honest with you, this was meant to be a one layer card, but I had to change my plan because my masking tape wasn’t doing a great job, and the ink was leaking underneath – setting it up here using the base rectangle stencil made my life easier. Could have, but I still don’t own it!
I planned to literally seal the edges, blend the inside with ink, and then stamp the image with black. Because of my boo-boo, the design went in a slightly different direction, though – I ended up cutting the ink-blended board, making sure I had nice crisp edges, matted it onto the complimenting satin mirror cardstock and glued it to white. The card base, with the same image stamped in black, ensures outline continuity.
In a way, my mistake made the design a little more interesting because we added a little dimension, and I love the frame element too!
I placed some pretty pearls here and there, added a simple and classy look, and voila – the card was ready. If you like to mass produce, you can repeat this with all the colors of the rainbow (or you can also make a rainbow background!), use different sentiments for different occasions, change the decorations on each card… all these beautiful cards for you Can help create a kit!
A Philosophy Of Walking (pre Owned Paperback 9781781688373) By Frederic Gros, John Howe
For my second card, I used the heart layer stencil set so I had more luck with my original idea – the stencil did a better job with the paint blending/covering process (by the way, I can’t recommend Blending Buddies enough. !).
I thought using a heart shape instead of the traditional rectangle or circle would make the design a little more interesting. This time, I chose more feminine colors.
The Crystalized Unicorn Tears rhinestones went perfectly with my color palette, and the sentiment is (almost) everything for a stamp set. To add a little more color to my card, I decided to trim the white board a bit and glue it to a pink cardstock.
Two quick and simple cards that are perfect for mailing as they are quite flat and light. They are colorful, but they require no coloring skills – how great is that?

Aside from regular coloring, what’s your favorite way to add color to your images? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
